Not the task list. Not the meeting. Not the enthusiasm. The outcome.
Before spending money, leaders need clear answers.
Who owns adoption?
Who owns the cost if the project fails?
Who owns the risk?
Who decides whether to continue, redesign or stop?
Who explains the decision if it is challenged?
If the answer is “we all do”, the answer is probably no one.
AI does not remove accountability.
It makes accountability more important.
